WHO WE ARE
The co-design methodology and toolkit are the result of a joint effort carried by two research laboratories from Mines Paris PSL (France) with:
Extensive academic expertise in management and design sciences acquired through in-depth research at the CGS (Center for Management Science), providing a solid foundation in both theoretical frameworks (e.g. C-K design theory) and practical applications.
Comprehensive understanding of the complex technical and organizational challenges encountered by Earth Observation stakeholders, acquired through experience at O.I.E., ensuring a nuanced perspective on industry-specific complexities.
A strong theoretical and empirical foundation developed through the creation of a co-design methodology in the H2020 e-shape European project (e-shape.eu), facilitating collaboration and innovation in the Earth Observation domain, with a focus on stakeholder engagement and user-centric solutions.
Robust empirical grounding through the creation of a pioneering supersite for the city of Marseille, allowing for real-world testing, validation, and refinement of innovative methods, with a focus on urban sustainability and data-driven decision-making.
Centre for Management Science,
Mines Paris, PSL
The Center for Management Science of Mines Paris is a pioneering laboratory in management sciences since 1967. Its research strategy is based on three axes: 1) design activities and innovation capacities in global enterprises and production systems; 2) dynamics of trades and occupational health in innovation and service activities; 3) Institutional changes and new forms of governance (private and public) in a capitalism of innovation and sustainable development.
